A fixture in the Nashville Music Scene for over 9 years, singer-songwriter Anthony Michael combines his urban Philly roots with down home southern songwriting flavor to create fresh and eclectic music that provokes the mind and soothes the soul.   Fueled by the success of his albums Meant To Be and Live at Exit/In, Anthony has been a breakout artist playing 500+ shows. His coast to coast tours have included stops at World Famous venues in major US cities such as the Whisky A Go Go in L.A., The Bluebird Cafe & EXIT/IN in Nashville, The Bitter End in NYC, The World Cafe Live and Tin Angel in Philadelphia, IOTA in D.C. , Eddie's Attic in Atlanta, The Parish's Beale Street Tavern in Austin, Le Tennessee & The Highlander in Paris, France, and island hopping shows in the US Virgin Islands.  Anthony played the festival circuit to the likes of 20,000 people on the main stage at THE MASTERS in Augusta, Georgia at the Columbia Championship Festival, Pelotonia, and on the Martin Guitars stage at Farm Aid. He has performed as the opening act for many established artists including Natalie Hemby, David Nail, Chris Janson, Chuck Wicks, James Otto, and Firefall. In addition, Anthony has performed alongside Keith Urban, Deana Carter, and Kenny Rogers. In June 2013, Anthony Michael released a live album LIVE AT EXIT/IN, recorded during a show at the legendary Nashville venue. 

Anthony’s upcoming new album North & South is his second full length studio LP. The record was recorded in Nashville and features some of Music City’s finest musicians including: Michael Webb (Chris Stapleton, John Fogerty, Poco, Bobby Keys), Brian Allen (Zac Brown, Jamey Johnson, Brent Cobb, Robben Ford), Wes Little (Stevie Wonder, Sting, Beyonce, Faith Hill), Jay Kott (Brent Cobb, Robert Randolph), Greg Foresman (Martina McBride), and Chuck Fields (Johnny Reid, Kenny Rogers, Terri Clark). North & South was produced by Erik Lutkins, Michael Webb, and Anthony Michael. The album is slated to be released world wide in February 2019. 

 Before moving to Nashville in 2010 to record his Debut Album Meant To Be with Grammy winning and multi-Platinum sound engineer's  Erik Lutkins (Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Sugarland, and Byron Gallimore), and Jenny Rosato Lutkins (George Massenburg,  Montgomery Gentry, and Linda Ronstadt), Anthony was the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the Knoxville based band Genuine Nothing.  Genuine Nothing was a staple rock band in the college Fraternity and Sorority show circuit that played many clubs and venues in the Southeast from 2006-2009. In both 2008 and 2009, Anthony gained national recognition for his songs “Take it Back” and “Swivel Stick” which were the Tennessee  Finalist in the BMI MENC John Lennon Songwriting Contest.

With musical influences like Jack Johnson, Jeff Buckley, Foo Fighters, Ben Harper, The Beach Boys, and The Dave Matthews Band, Anthony Michael has a captivating and alluring stage presence that demonstrates his obvious passion for music. Soul, Funk, Reggae, Blues, Folk, Country, and Rock ‘n’ Roll are all elements found in his intensely raw sound.
